1. What is 'Far infrared ray'?

Far infrared ray is

an electromagnetic wave in a wavelength range of 3~1000, which is stronger than the visible light in heating action and its radiation energy with direct and instant heat transfer makes rapid heating, which results in a great energy-saving effect and is widely used for dry heating, thermotherapy, health supplies, and building interior materials.

Far-infrared is an electromagnetic wave that appears in the longer wavelength range than the red part of the visible light in the spectrum and presents a strong thermal effect. Historically, following the development of spectrometers around 1800, German scientist Hassel identified electromagnetic waves outside the red solar ray, which are invisible to the eyes but resemble the light in physical properties, and thus named these lights infrared.

Unlike conduction or convection, these infrared rays are radiation energy which directly reaches the object without relying on any heat transfer media at all. Though not affecting the metals very much, when they touch the surface of an organic material, especially a high-molecular material, they cause resonance by the polarity of the molecules that make up the cells, which strongly amplifies thermal energy inside the material.

It is instantly transmitted deep into the skin, which increases the temperature deep inside. This radiant energy is absorbed 80 times deeper into the body than convection or conduction, causing more than 2,000 vibrations per minute, which plays a significant role in removing waste and toxins.
